The Lansdowne Club Event - 12/01/2006

Considering the Lansdowne Club was where the idea of OBREMS was first suggested, it seemed only fitting to hold our first event there, in the Shelburne Room. We were provided with an excellent venue, capable of housing over 100 people, which we were not even dreaming of accomplishing. However, the event was a great success as the venue filled up with enthusiastic Oxford Brookes Graduates throughout the evening, which was surprising considering there was no free bar!

The unprecedented amount of support that was shown for the initial idea of OBREMS was incredibly encouraging, prompting us to follow up on it and progress further with its development. A big "thank you" to all who attended and helped get OBREMS off to a great start.
