The information you provide when you register will be held securely on a database by Written Byte Ltd, a database company appointed by OBREMS to build and manage the OBREMS website and database. It will be linked to the OBREMS website and will be password protected. It can be accessed by OBREMS administrators and where relevant can be viewed by Oxford Brookes University alumni and Oxford Brookes University students who register with OBREMS.
The information you provide will be used primarily for communication between OBREMS and its alumni. It may also be used for marketing, promotional and fundraising purposes. We will contact you by email, fax or telephone.
The information you provide may also be made available to other third parties including the Oxford Brookes University Alumni office and the Department of Real Estate & Construction if you give your express permission by ticking the appropriate boxes on the registration form.
If you do not wish for your information to be held on the OBREMS database, displayed on the website or made available to third parties, please tick the appropriate boxes at the end of the registration form.
Any information displayed on the Internet is regarded as having potential for disclosure outside the European Economic Area (EEA). If you choose to make your data visible to other alumni by clicking the relevant boxes on the registration form then you are deemed to have consented that this data may be disclosed to countries outside the EEA.
